Spruce St. Studios are one of a kind private events venues in a reclaimed, restored, and redesigned church located in the heart of historic Shelbyville Illinois, less than a mile from beautiful Lake Shelbyville.
The venue features three upscale spaces, with everything you need to accommodate special events, wedding ceremonies, receptions, private parties, corporate events, and more.
Studio A – 4000 sq. ft. space featuring reclaimed flooring, cathedral wood ceilings, architectural beams and stunning chandeliers to create the perfect mood for your event. Unlike dated looking reception halls, this spacious area will comfortably seat up 300 guests ceremony style and 250 for receptions.
Studio B – 2000 sq. ft. space featuring rustic chic decor and eclectic furnishings to compliment any style of event while comfortably accommodating 225 guests seated ceremony style and up to 140 for receptions. The space compliments any style of decor with open loft-style timber ceilings, hand-made sliding walnut barn doors, stained glass windows and reclaimed tin accents.
Both spaces feature private bride and groom changing suites with separate lounge cocktail areas including men’s & ladies rooms.
Outdoor space – Designed for ceremonies and outdoor soirées. Seating can accommodate up to 200 guests with a beautiful ceremony aisle and patio area surrounded by a unique rustic privacy fence. Packages include a “plan b” indoor option in the event of bad weather.
All spaces can be mixed and matched with our flexible event packages like ceremonies only, ceremony and reception in separate spaces or combination ceremony and reception in the same space.
All of our packages include cozy 5’ round tables, on-site linen rental in your choice of colors and comfortable premium white padded chairs, to create a neutral palette with virtually endless seating arrangement options to ensure plenty of room for socializing and dancing once the lights go down.
And if that’s not enough, we allow you to BYOB and choose your own catering with no additional fees!
